Rudechix exploded on the t-shirt scene in 2004 with the original design, "I'm cuter than you," which became an instant hit.  Sherry Mattson, owner and president of Rudechix, wanted the shirts to be fun to wear while also making a statement...something sassy and unique, not just the boring one liners. 
 
The next line introduced was baby apparel.  Mattson's friends starting having kids and wanted cool stuff for them to wear.  "Feed me dammit" pretty much summarized what the alterna-moms were thinking, and for the alterna-dad, "my dad can dropkick your dad" was created, which was quoted in The San Diego Union Tribune on November 11, 2005.
 
Rudechix is featured in Los Angeles area boutiques as well as around the U.S. and Canada. You can find this unique apparel at tattoo conventions, bike shows, and trade shows. Sherry Mattson is a Los Angeles resident who graduated from UC Irvine with a degree in Environmental Design.
